This script for “Death Trip” was the basis of the short story of the same name from my “Seven Short Stories About Death” compilation.

The script was for a short film that I had intended to shoot, guerilla style, using a Hi8 camera and raw analog uploading to a PC for editing. After some time passed, I realized that I did not fully have the resources (I was broke) or a willing cast (I was the only person I knew interested in doing it). Thus, it was abandoned into my file of scripts.

It is about a year old and my writing style has progressed since then. At the time, I had been writing scripts for my own pleasure for around a year and a half. So, it at least reflects the foundation of how I write at the present moment.

Anyway, I thought it was an interesting, confusing story (that bore some obvious influences) and I think it would have made a fun first film. Enjoy.
